I believe in motherhood. I believe in praising the work mothers do. I believe with all of the messy and ugly moments each day, they're stronger than we can imagine. I believe mothers should be recognized. This is the stuff of life. This is their toil and reward_.
I love photographing mothers with their children so that's what we did here in St Andrews, Scotland, in a house called Ivybank. Nothing fancy, no planned outfits. Just Angela with Sebastian, Katharina, and Pippa, living out the every day.
Let's never forget these moments.
